Frequently Asked Questions
Straightforward answers about pests, treatments, and how we work.
Is it safe to be around while you treat?
Yes. We use APVMA‑approved products designed for homes and apply them carefully. To play it safe, keep clear of rooms as we work, and wait until treated surfaces are dry before returning — typically 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on weather and surface. Children and animals must be kept away until dry.
Do I have to leave the house while you spray?
Strongly recommended. Easiest routine: relax inside while we do the outside, then step outdoors while we treat inside. Adults can re‑enter once areas are dry; children and pets follow the same dry‑time rule above.
When will I notice a difference?
Ants and Cockroaches usually drop off quickly. Rodent programs take about a week or two. Termite colony treatments are slower — often several weeks — because we’re shutting down the colony, not just the scouts you see.
How often for termite checks?
Yearly. AS 3660.2 recommends annual inspections. Higher‑risk homes — slab‑on‑ground, heavy landscaping timber, or past activity — sometimes go six‑monthly for peace of mind.
Where do we go?
Noosa Hinterland and surrounds, plus Sunshine Coast and Gympie. Close by and unsure? Call and we’ll tell you straight.
